100 shot

What modifications would I need to make if any for the ability to safely run a 100 shot or lower on my currently stock ls1? I dont plan of running it but only once and awhile.

Get an msd ignition with a timing retard function, and set it to 4 degrees retard for a 100shot. stock lt1's take a 150shot with no problem, so an ls1 should be around there too considering the crank is as strong if not stronger. I've run a 125 for 4 bottles with no problem at all.

Stock LS1 100shot....no problem. Just get a quality kit like NX, TNT and get safety items like window switch, FPSS, gages are nice so you can see your bottle press. and fuel situation, lastly get it installed by someone who knows what they are doing. I have done everything on my car myself, however I had my N20 installed by a friend who has done 30-40 installs. I helped of course but it't nice to have someone who has done it before.

depending on how many miles your car has on it consider an aux. fuel pump. I am getting one soon as I just don't trust GM pumps. I had a pump go out at 30K miles on my old '97 LT1. I have 9K on my '02 so I consider 1/3 of it's life gone
