Where to tune in Tucson?
Where to tune in Tucson?
Hey guys, i'm in Tucson and will be finishing up my cam install this coming weekend. Was wondering where to take it to get dyno tuned? Any input would be great!
You need to go to Phoenix. People I know go to StreetFlight in Mesa, including me. You will need you own LT1 edit. No one in Phoenix or Tucson has LT1 edit(a shop), just LS1 edit.

Crap, so i guess i need to buy a laptop and some software!!! This cam swap is costing WAY more than i anticipated!
Gotta be someone in Arizona capable of tuning for a cam swap...what do other people who swap out cams in their cars do - leave the programming stock?
Edit: What i mean is does EVERYONE buy their own software and have a laptop for this purpose?
They get a mailorder tune.
I went for a real dyno tune after having driveability/idle problems with my mailorder tune, my tuner told me the A/F ratio was dangerously low at WOT.
There is no way you can get an accurate tune without having the car there, every car is different.
