A few months ago while driving around New Mexcio, we were coming up from Roswell, we passed a gate with a VV on it...and this continued for quite some time on both sides of the road while driving to Fort Sumner.

Anyone know anything about the VV ranch...it was huge...

 

I think it still an active cattle ranch. Hard to tell with people like Ted Turner and a couple other famous people owning property in various parts fo the state now. Many are owned by private outfitting companies for hunting.
