to those in the Rancho Cucamonga area
that low? thats pretty cool. I ask because Im gonna be going to UTI out there and was contemplating just moving out there instead of communiting everyday. It wouldnt neccesarily have to be in Rancho Cucamonga, but somewhere near it AND one of the first five stores in this list: http://dt.know-where.com/DiscountTir...1929&go=Search
also, would like it to be a somewhat "safe" area

Man I wonder what the parking lot of that school looks like...I can only imagine! Id be late for class everyday cause Im stuck drooling in the parking lot!!!
What prgram are you planning on taking? I want to do the NASCAR tech but Im not going to NC to do it(I dont drive in snow, and Im not moving all the way to the otherside of the US alone!) I just cant decide between the collision & repair course or the auto technition, I want to do both! But I dont know if I can afford to!!!

I was betting you were planing on going to UTI as soon as I saw Rancho Cucamunga...Ill be asking the same thing in about a year hopefully! I still have to find out about scholarships though...and I will HAVE to move more towards there cause its about and hour+ away at this point and Im not commuting that far for school everyday! Ive heard that Rancho Cucamunga is a good place, very nice, clean and fairly safe area...BTW is there anything car related to do out there? Why put a car school in a non-car area(maybe thats changing now that the school is out there) but wouldnt it of made more sense to put it in a town near a drag strip or rod shops area etc??

I had 3 friends of mine complete their schooling there and none of them are mechanics now. One of them has 2 Ase's that's it. Don't believe the infomercials you see on t.v. I was going to go there myself. I had taken the test and everything, then my friends said not to waste my money cause they were half way through and it is to fast paced and not enough 1 on 1 with the teacher. Just make sure you do your research before spending 10's of thousands of dollars, the infomercials only tell you the success rate not how big the failure rate is. Just my .02. Good luck with whatever you decide. Oh by the way the parking lot sucks. Nothing I ever saw is worth mentioning.

i was just gonna take the basic automotive, then do the BMW graduate training. Sure, the automotive field aint THAT great, but for me, I wasnt able to get into a university first time around, unless I went to CC first. Not good for me. I never was good in school and had no idea what to eventually major in, so I decided to go on my interests: cars. If it backfires, I'll just go full time at my job and work my way up the ladder there

I live in Rancho and $700 is a bare minimum for a one bedroom or maybe even a studio in a safe area. A house payment will be over a grand.
