Painting over chrome is not a gooc Idea so you could get them stripped and then powdercoated at a place like this If you click on the powder coating link on the side it will give you a phone number. Im not sure if they can strip the chrome for you. And I believe powdercoating would be like 40- 60 a wheel. and they have a ton of colors.

If your rims are not chrome then yes it will be cheaper because you will not have to pay to get them stripped. but it would still be around $50 a rim for powdercoating. You just would not have to pay a separate shop to strip the chrome.

Im not 100% sure but I believe the salad shooters are steel. and in figuring your costs dont forget about haveing your tires removed and then remounted and balanced. probably 15$ each.

salad shooters are aluminum....pick up a salad shooter, and then pick up a chevy rally off a 69 camaro, and you will see and feel the difference.
