Its drawing closer and I believe just my club is rolling down 10 cars maybe more...... There are a few others from local northern clubs that plan on rolling or will already be at the show and meet us at the pre-meet.....

Storekeeper has his San Diego bretheren cruising down.....(last time they had around 10+)

CSULALS1 has himself and 6 other locals coming.......

GMTERNAL is gonna try and rollout a few.....

Yep, It may be the timing chain or opti, I don't know yet. That's where I'm headed next. I don't believe it is anything seriously wrong in the motor after running it a few days ago, it was faster than ****.

It ran good at times after installing the delteq, but eventually when I started it later on in the day, it sounded horrible again: rough idle, surging, about half power.

I happened to take off the driver side valve cover during the delteq install and find on the #3 cylinder, the polylock almost off the stud with no pushrod in sight! I happened to find the pushrod and reinstall it and adjusted the intake and exhaust valve for the #3 cylinder. I retightened all the polylocks after seeing what happened. It ran good for a day, then crapped out again. This car is becomming a real teaser.

Oh yeah, I took the headers bolts off to loosen the headers along with the cat converters to change plugs and wires, so those are all new.

My plan is to change the opti next and to run the original plug wires perhaps. I did disconnect the blower too, it did the same thing so it's not that.

If I get the car running, I'm going to the show.

What date is the show?

Damn, my car is still apart. Wish I could bring it to super chevy but choosing parts and ordering parts takes a long time as some of you guys know. There is no way this car could be a daily driver, you have to have a backup.

Puttin in a bigger blower cam & possibly heads, converting to a vented opti, double roller timing chain, electric water pump.

Hope everything else holds up for awhile.

Was plannin on rollin out with probably just one other person, im not really affiliated with any clubs or organizations. But ill go with whoever. Clubs arnt for me.....id dont like "rules"
