Too bad you aren't here, I paid $40 to have 'em welded on my 96 and then on my 98.

80-125 is pretty much the going rate. In fact, 80 dollars is a little on the cheap side, I don't know if I would trust their work at only 80 bucks. There is a wide range of welding quality and experience out there. Personally I would find someone that has had their sfc's welded that's around you, and if you like the job they did, then go there. I wouldn't go to any shop blindly to have them do the work. Good luck.

My dad's shop is in Orange near the Arrowhead Pond, and he has done MANY subframe connector installs for thirdgens and fourthgens. You can contact him at (714) 633-5168 or delcruzen@hotmail.com I think he charges $75-80. Mention my name.

Because it takes 1-2 hours to do it right without burning up your carpet. The welder has to be paid for his time, and welding wire and gas arent cheap.

Don Lorentzen

He's a great guy, he's honest, knows his stuff, he's done the SFC's on both my old 93Z28 and my 01SS, I trust him big time, and his work is great, cost is very inexpensive...
You don't have to believe me, check around, check out muffler shops & places like Superior Automotive(great work by the way), then get Don's price, you'll see he is MORE than reasonable.

Check with Kevin91Z, it's his DAD's SHOP!
LOL, he's located right by the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim, I think the name of the street is Struck Avenue??? It's off of Katella Avenue, east of the 57 freeway.

Dude, trust me, Don really UNDERCHARGES for what he does, he's a great guy, the quality is outstanding, You won't find anyone who does great work AND charges folks such a low rate...

Do yourself a favor, PLEASE shop around, get quotes, then I promise you that you'll feel much better spending $80.00 at Don's place.
