I am about 30 mins from riverside go there all the time. It is a nice place, lots of stuff to do in my opinoin. Lots of nice cars, saw a ls1 with intake full exhaust on that freeway the other day. If you want to know anything just ask.

If that were the case I would be moving to Seattle. As much as I want to move to Seattle, I need to stay close to family and friends. I am moving there for school.

What are the laws there for students? I know in AZ you are exempt from emissions if you are a student from another state.

Also, how far is it for a track and a dyno?

30 minutes east or west? I'm about 35 minutes east.

I need to meet up with a bunch of you soon as I get another Z again.. Until then I'm ashamed to be seen with this commuter

Jim, you've got to go shooting one of these days with David and myself.

Madhatter: I'm pretty sure there are at least 2 dynos in Riverside.. California Speedway in Fontana has a strip they just recently put together in the parking lot. It's a fairly short drive. Banning has Drag City which should be open by now, it's about 25-30 minutes east of the city. Higher elevation there though.

I work alarm response as an armed officer, and we work closely with all the PDs... So I just have to warn you that Riverside PD is hardcore, they don't f*** around.

It's funny... Californians are bailing out of this state as quick as they can and it seems Arizona residents keep coming here.

hmmm, what do you think they will think of the long tubes/x-pipe/3" piping/12" bullets/no cats

I am not worrying aobut getting harassed. I am more worried about having to register my car there. Here in AZ, if you are from outside the state and a student, you can keep your home-state plates.

I've driven through Riverside and it looks like a dump to me. Sorry to hear you're leaving.

I'll be living in LA from mid Nov. to June 30 if you're out there.

Not a dump, it has bad parts like anywhere. Actually lots to do, nice place real nice winter weather. Went to UC riverside for undergrad studies. Loved it.
