Replacement Event for SLP CAD set!! car show & picnic!!
Well with the cancellation we decided to throw the event anyways.. lots of people made arrangements to attend the LACR event so here is what we have:
SLP is not putting on this event but they did send a bunch of raffle/car show prizes including a lot of $100 gift certificates.. We will also raffle off several GC's from Afterthoughts and products from Meguires. Who knows what else we will have by then
Plan is for a car show (with trophies) and BBQ/picnic.. you can get more details here

Here are the Basics:
The replacement for the SLP CAD event will be a Picnic/BBQ at beautiful Castaic Lake in Castaic, CA, 5 miles north of Magic Mountain, in Valencia. It will be the same date, April 26th, at 9:00 am PST. The location is Lots #3 & 4, right in front of the entrance. There are enough spaces for 250+ cars. Please register with Diane after you enter, at the white canopy, to get free gifts and such. Events are still being planned, but will include a car show with $100 SLP gift certificates for the winners, and a free raffle for more SLP gift certificates, gift certicicates from other vendors are still being added and other goodies. There is a large, shaded picnic area adjacent to the 2 lots with 9 BBQ's for those who wish to display their Grilling talents. If anyone wishes to volunteer to grill hot dogs & burgers, I will provide the food and soda's. There is lots of city water & restrooms. The park rules are basic, dogs on leashes, no (visible) alcoholic drinks, no speeding (the Sheriff's are quite strict around the park on this issue), so be cool. This notice will be posted on other sites, but please pass this along, so we have a super turnout and show our strength as performance car enthusiasts. SLP Performance Parts and other vendors support this event, and we appreciate their contribution. I hope everyone who is aware of this event comes out to meet fellow enthusiats and see the fantastic cars that will be at their best. See you all at the SLP CAD PICNIC.

This is a LOT of work to put on at the last minute but It should be a good time!!
