NEW motor for sell
i'm actually trying to sell my 1991 z28 but i'm not getting any responses so i'm putting the motor up for sell.
this is a professionally built blower motor for the street, so it is built to withstand the stresses of the daily grind.
in a nutshell
engine builder: allen bassant at bep in orange, calif.
his experience ranges from nhra, sportscars, boats all the way to winston cup motors. this guy knows his stuff, in fact he has been put on the same level as john lingenfelter.
engine: 350 ('87) production block 2-piece rear main seal, 4-bolt main with billet caps stroked to a 383 (compression is 9.5:1) all internal components are forged (4340) with arp fastners, vortech t-trim (9lbs. of boost), accel superram intake, afr 210cc race ready heads (mildly worked) and o-ringed with manely severe duty valves in. 2.08 ex. 1.65, comp cams stainless hi-tech roller rockers with stud girdle and isky oversized double valve springs, titanium retainers, isky hyd. cam (specs can be supplied), je forged flat top pistons, manely steel (5.7) h-beam rods, cola forged race crank, canton road race oil pan.
the final dyno numbers are as follows:
730hp @ 6200 & 700ft. lbs. @ 3800 on 100 octane
the motor only has dyno time (which the engine broke six serpentine belts) and less than 100 street miles. it is currently sitting. i have all receipts and dyno sheets plus a video of the motor making the two best dyno pulls. i can email the dyno sheet in a few days for proof along with photos of the motor in the car.
all in all this is a $15,000+ motor that i'm sacrificing due to other obligations.
selling price: $11,000 obo
