Need some more info!

I was here a couple of days ago, asking about Z-28 & S.S. camaro's since I know nothing about them, what is a b4c production code mean, I'm thinking of a cop car, but they don't say z-28 or ss so what are they exactly? the different tops, is a hatch considered a hdt? is a t-top considered a hdt, and I've seen adds say fixed top? could some one expalain this? And traction control? I've seen adds with and with no mention of traction control, I've read threads where people are trying yo take off their traction control, what does it do, and do they all have it, and next if i buy a Z or SS, do I want traction control. What does M-6 mean? any information would be helpful. Thanks

m6- Manual 6 speed
I believe all of the newer z's have the traction controll I could be wrong though. Mine doesn't but it is a 94. Most people don't like traction controll when they race because it corrects which wheel spins how fast and that to keep the wheels I believe from loosing traction. So I think you can't do burnouts with it on? I don't know though. I imagine it helps for everyday driving or in the rain and things like that.
