This hotel is walking distance from the Ontaio Mills Mall which includes a Dave & Busters and a Gameworks, which I am working on a deal with.

 

I'm sure we'll be able to drag a few of the AZ guys out to this. We may even have a track car or two ready to run out of town by then.

Sarge@LVfbody was talking about making an AZ run to come see you guys and convince a few more we are serious and to get them to come out for this.

 

I was the one Sarge was working with to arrange a meet up in AZ. Unfortunately the groups here have been self destructive in one club to the point where 10 cars showing up is a major event and the other is still growing and not quite ready for a major event yet.

But the core group of us that go to LV Invasion regularly will almost definitely show up for an event in SoCal.

 

when is this event happening?

 

The track day should be the Saturday May 24 and the cruise/BBQ on the Sunday the 25th of Memorial Day. For more details see the link.

 

I'll be there. It was good seeing all of you guys at the event here in Vegas.

 

Just post here up if you want to participate in any of the events and I can add you to the list.

 

I'll run and do the BBQ. You can actually put me as a backup on the dyno too.

 

I'll pass the word to the thirdgen groups out here, too. We should have a few for the drag race, but the $100 price tag will be tough. CA Speedway thinks they're sitting on a gold mine and then treats you like dirt if you're not renting the oval.

I'll ask my boss at Manley about sponsorship but I wouldnt be hopeful.

We should definitely be able to get a few thirdgens for the Cruise and Bar-b-q.

 

I certainly appreciate it. We had a great meeting tonight with some of the other clubs and right now I think we have another 30-40 cars that will end up on the list soon.

I have priced a couple of tracks and they are not really out of line. We would have the track exclusively that day. no sharing with other cars.
