L.a & O.c. Only Southern Cal, Ss Hood F/s

Okay guys, I have a friend that bought an SS hood over at the Pomona fairgrounds earlier this year, the hood is brand new, never installed, still has that grey gelcoat, the scoop is not cut out yet, he's asking $300.00 firm. If any of y'all are interested, let me know. He only has one. He bought it for his 93 Z28, and decided that he didn't want to go through the hassle of converting it, so there you go.

Hola Carlos93z,

Just wanted to confirm that this is the big block SS Hood.

Would you mind sending PICS to the following email:

---->>> 95_Camaro_Z28@***.net <<<-----

Thanks.

Do you know which brand it is? What do you mean by the "hassle of converting it"? Are you just referring to installing the rest of the airbox stuff to make it functional? I'm not looking for one to be functional. Gonna be out of town this weekend for a wedding, but if he still has it next week I'll be very interested and can come up to take a look at it.

I have no idea what brand it was, he got it from the Fairgrounds swap meet. He didn't want to take it to a body shop for them to fit it, then paint it, then install it. The SS opening is closed, so to make it functional the scoop needs to be opened, and you will have to buy an SS airbox.

He just didn't want to go through that, so the hood is virtually untouched.

Ok, as I said, this week/weekend is hectic for me and I'll be out of town, but we're having an F-body club breakfast up towards that way the following weekend (Sunday the 14th), so if he's still got it then I'd like to swing up and take a look that day or possibly the 13th. Not knowing anything about it, I obviously will need to see it in person before I can commit. I'll check back to see if he still has it when I return...thanks,

Yeah, I'd definitely like to come up and take a look at it...I could probably do it as early as tomorrow morning. I have plans tomorrow afternoon/evening and I'm not sure about Sunday without checking with the wife. Drop me a PM with an address/contact number if he's still got it and we'll set something up...thanks,
