Irwindale Speedway

June 3rd, 2006


30 cars maximum
We have an event at the Irwindale Speedway and looking for more friends to join in the fun. All cars will arrive by 3p.m. We will gather by the ticket office in the handicap parking area. I will ask for our point of contact at the ticket office and I will get all the waivers signed, our POC will give all our tickets and escort us to the chalet area by the grandstands.
Gates open at 4p.m. to the public. Cars may not leave until after racing for the night is over.
2 free tickets for each car in chalet.
$5 off per ticket to any of your friends who attend.
Parade lap on track during pre-race ceremony at approximately 6:30p.m.
WE get to show off our cars in a sort of mini car show.

I will assemble an area for us to meet near Irwindale for everyone to begin arriving. The time to show up will be from 1:30 to 2:30 pm. At 2:30 pm we will depart to Irwindale. Show up with cars polished, waxed, and ready to rock! WE will be having a blast while we wait and show off our rides, have some ladies check us out and so on. Also any of you that own trophies won at previous shows, please bring them with you.

Mark your calendar down, we are going to have a great time and lastly. I am looking for a Veejay that will have the opportunity to perhaps introduce the group on the microphone of the speedway. I am looking for a lady to do the honors. Please respond for any ladies interested.

For our CamaroZ28 friends interested, respond via this thread. We have only 30 spaces to fill. Admins, may I get a sticky?

I would like to attend along with a couple of friends, not sure who will race though, what if we just wanted to attend..how much?

 

Tickets are $5 off for additional friends that attend. You get in free with your car including 1 guest. I will add you to the mix, we are growing fast.

Actually no, we will be doing parade laps around the track. Should the 1/8 be open, you are more than welcomed to drag race there. We have 8 slots remaining, don't get left out from the action.

Meeting location for Irwindale, June 3 is as follows:

Arrive time: from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Northern-most portion of the wal-mart parking lot in Duarte, near Monrovia and Irwindale. Bring plenty of water, cameras, sunbloc, hats, polish and trophies. We are going to rock, if you click the south arrows you will see the speedway.

change of plans for me, i cant make june 3rd but ill be at irwindale next thurs b4 the meet. it'll be my first time running the car on the track
