Re: HELP!!! 94 LT1 hypertech Programmer

Don't use the hypercrap on it, it's a waste of money for what little it can do. There's are a couple of mail order tuners (pcm 4 less, madz28) that will do it for less then half. Also hypertech only work on one car at a time, you can't share the program.

weird I have a 94 camaro LT1 I have had it up to 200 km/h or about a 125 miles an hour I have a feeling that it would go to 240 Km/h as that is what the tires are rated for, and thats were most auto manufacturers set the speed limiter. Also if you increase your limiter you will need to match that to the speed rating of your tires the letter on the side wall correlated to the speed rating. Mine came with tires that where rated for 240km/h from the factory, but when I went to replace them at a cost of over 300.00 a tire I went with tires rated for about 190Km/h continues use. Be careful over speeding tires!! And I no I am an idiot for going that fast, you must be equally as dumb to want to raise the speed above 110 miles an hour! Unless of course you are on a closed course.
