Colorado people inside
A friend of mine is having a small problem with her LT1 SS and the local shops are not very familiar with the LT1/LS1 and can't fix it because they can't fine the problem. She lives in GRAND JUNCTION and I told her I would try and find a good shop that knows our motors.
Any sugestions?
Thanks guys.

Re: Colorado people inside
I saw the previous post, is that your friends car? 96? Auto or manual? Tempurature? A/C on or off? Fans on or off? Is car missing or just idling really really low? IAC sensor tested? This is the sensor that increases the idle when the a/c kicks on and for the most part controls the idle. EGR tested? If this fails it could cause this kind of problem when it kicks in. Cant tell you more about this because I no longer have one. But you did mention after it warms up I beleive. IAT sensor tested? This monitors the intake air temp. TPS sensor tested? This controls the injectors rates of fuel, so to speak. These sensors usually have more than one function. I usually add this because some smart *** will come in and spout off from his manual while not really helping you with your problem. I hope this helps some it been awhile since Ive had to work on my Z since its been in texas storage for 10 months.
