Dash cover or constant care. If you treat your dash well with whatever product suits you best you won’t have any problem.

I had my side windows limo tinted. It keeps my car A LOT cooler. Its against the law, but isn’t strictly enforced.

EVERYONE speeds on the freeway.

The phoenix suburbs are all starting to drastically increase their red light runner cameras.

It only rains every 3 months here, so when you buy tires … don’t bother taking rain traction into account.

That’s all I can think of for now.

Thanks, yea i have like 35% tint i think, but i regret not going darker, sales guy talked me out of it. Heard stuff about windows blowing out too if you dont leave them cracked....dont know if there's any truth to that. I think i'll probably sell my snow tires, most likely wont need them out there Thanks for the help, i'll probably have more questions

Ive never heard of blowing out windows ... thats like something out of a movie.

The guy who did my windows did it for like, $40 or $50 bucks.

I think the biggest f body group here is http://www.azfba.com/

Never heard of windows blowing out either, but like any extreme weather condition if you get a 'star' in the glass it will spread very quickly.

I also always keep a sunvisor in my car for the front windshield. This helps cut down a lot of the heat and dash wear.

Windows don't blow out...lol...But if you have a small crack, or chip in your window definately leave your windows cracked so the crack doesn't spread.

Make sure that a/c works well also!

And since I run the messageboard I have to plug it, check out www.azfba.com

You might want to invest on some better tint as in darker. The temps. usually run from 100 to 115 on an average summer day. I would say to make sure all your hoses are not soft so you wont spring a leak. Gas here is at 1.80 premium and your air conditioner will get a workout. If you are going to join a car club you can join the www.azfba.com . That club is the shizznit im a member and all the guys and girls that are in it are cool.

Thanks for the input so far, what about emissions testing...here in ohio we have to have e-checks every other year, anything like that out there?? What about fading paint, i plan to wax the car several more times before i get out there and while i'm out there...do i need to add any more protection??

They just check our PCM for any error codes...no roller tests unless you fail the PCM test.

Yeah, make sure you wax your car before you get here, because during the summer it is kind of hot to be waxing a car.

I just moved from cincinnati to to Tucson a couple years ago. The only thing i did for my car was put in a 160 t-stat. And it still runs at about 190-210 range sitting in traffic in the summer.

There is emissions testing and for your 94 they will put it on the rollers and do a sniff test, its just like e-check. Also check the gas cap and visually check for emission equipment

Traffic sucks out here and once you get outside of the city, it turns to desert with nothing for miles. And make sure your cars a/c works and i really hope your cars not black.

Its kick *** in the winter, sunny and warm everyday. Just have to try and stay inside during the summer instead of the winter. Perfect t-top weather. Can get a little chilly in the morning, and by chilly i mean 50 degrees.

It also hadly ever rains here so when you wash your car, it stays clean. Just gets dusty.

Be careful touching your car after its been sitting in the summer sun. It will be HOT.

Watch out though, lots of fast cars around, especially in phoenix.

I'm so lookin forward to the weather since i've been in chicago the last 4 years....i'd rather be real hot for couple months than bitter cold for half the year. Yeah.....cars not so fast right now, but hopefully i can get a decent job and take care of that. If i could find some people who would help me with the install, i could save a ton of money, b/c i just dont have the tools or the know-how for a lot of that. Seems to be quite a few guys out there who are active in a car club. 1 more month...

PHX?

Curious but does that mean we have a Camaro Group in the PHX area?
