Lets just say that you ran a redlight and the camera taking your picture takes the picture, how are they are going to identify you? They are not. Thats one of the reasons why they want front plates to be mounted. But you just saved yourself a huge ticket!!!!

There are generally TWO cameras at locations that use Photo Enforcement. One to capture the violation and one to capture the offenders license plate. However, they are usually mounted opposite each other. Meaning, one camera for a front view and one for the rear view (usually the camera photographing the violation) so they will generally get your rear plate anyway.........They also use two so that not only does the violation get captured on film, but also so they can snap a pic of the driver, so you cannot claim someone stole your car for that minute. Just a little FYI for ya.......

Sincerely,
A former "A-hole cop"

Yeah i really hate the looks of having a front licence plate. I don't have one on my car. I never had one on any of my cars(all sports cars) and i have never got pulled over for it or ticketed for it when i got ticketed for something else in the 5 years i have been driving. But you never know when a cop wants to be a dick and pull you over for it. So i'll sign it.

Speaking as a "***ing pig", as you so eloquently put it, why "shouldn't it be mandatory for you"??? What makes you so special? The law is there for a reason, just because you don't like it doesn't mean anything is going to change.

^to me it is less important to have the front plates on thn the back plates. Pissed me off because i didnt have no front plate brackets n that damn cop pulled me over for it. It should be on but it shouldnt be Mandatory. And laws can change too, if u didnt know....ight so ur a "former A-cop" then, whats the big importance of having that front plate attached to ur car? why cant u have it on ur windshield? explain tht lil crap-shoot for me when u got the chance
