2001 rebuildable Z28 mn6

65k miles, hit across the nose, needs to be squared but the structure is not bad,the radiator support will fix, I have a perfect radiator support for it with the bumper support and foam,a radiator and a regular Z hood i'll include on the deal. airbags did not deploy, car runs and drives in the yard fine, the doors back is cherry,CA clean title, asking 5900 plus tax, i'm semi flexible but theres not much room in it.

thanks

I'll give you $3000 cash today... Sorry but that's all it's worth to me because it would have to be parted out.

Would take way too much money to restore that thing as weathered as it has become...

No thanks. the drivetrain is worth 5000 complete Im not new to this business. Ill pull it out and throw the car away before I take a loss.weathered, lol, build a drag car out of it. interior **** is everywhere,If i washed it for my pics i guess it'd be a better deal.

Exactly my point. $6900 is pretty high for a $5000 (high end) drivetrain and a car full of weathered interior and what seems to be scratched up body panels? That would be a $1900 loss not including the labor of stripping the car and selling the parts...

How about $3500 and it's gone before the weekend...

Wish you went to the auction with me. I was never asking 6900.00. it was 5900.00...you can't get a car at copart or IAA for less than 3G's,It's a Clean title car anyway so It's worth building and interior stuff is nearly FREE if you look around. your offer isn't close.

$5000 for the drive train is pretty rich. I would be interested to see what you end up doing as I would have to agree with 5Litereater about the condition. Anyhow, good luck on whatever you decide

Gotta agree, 5900 for that thing is way too much. No offense dude, but the drivetrain is not worth 5k. Maybe 3-3500 to the right buyer. Car is way tore up and no one is gonna drop that much and a ton more to fix even if done as a do-it-yourself type of project. Have you priced paint and materials lately? It is also worth way more to part out in the end than sell as a unit, that is what I would do.

Sorry for the typo... $5900.

Clean tittle on a car like that only matters if I am buying it for the VIN, and I am not.

Granted if you were selling the car for $1000, yeah let's rebuild it. But why spend $5900 on the car and a good $4000-$5000 making it driveable when you could buy similar car for less?

$3700 as it sits... you probably won't get that if you run it back through the auctions. If you do, I'll put the same bid on it there...

BTW-If you are going to continure to use the forum to sell cars/parts for business purposes, I'd suggest you contact Jason D to become a sponsor.
Thanks.

Re: 2001 rebuildable Z28 mn6

No problem Sam, I'm done.I wouldn't mind being a sponsor but I cant sell to these people, they want to pull teeth.I know about what I have and know you could make the car pretty decent for 2500, there are no 01 cars with 60k for 7500 8500 or 9500. I assure you I'm not buying cars at a magic auction where things are free. I also assure you I'll keep it before I sell for 3700. I seen worse cars on e bay do over 5000.

Thanks
J
