****Just a reminder about the AZ F-body Club****
Posted by Verbs:
After doing some research, I have decided to hold the first AZ fbody meeting on June 29th, at 2pm in the Phoenix Public Library.
I figured this is as central of a location as any, and it won't be noisy.
The only negative, is that I will require everyone to pay $1 upon entering the room, as the room costs $10 per hour to rent, and we have it rented for two hours. There is a lot to go over in this first meeting, and I do expect it to last about 1.5-2 hours.
We are not allowed to eat in the room, or else we will be charged $25!!! So please eat lunch before hand!!!!
Anyone who does not have $1 to provide upon entry will not be allowed in. I'm sorry to be such a stickler about this, but we must be fair to everyone. SO DON'T FORGET YOUR $1!!!!
I also want to ask that everyone bring a pad of paper and a pen, so that ideas can be jotted down, and you can remember what took place at the meeting.
During this first meeting a lot of the rules and regulations are going to be decided upon, so if there is a meeting you don't want to miss, it is this one. I even encourage the passive members to participate in this first meeting just so they can get a feel for the club and give their input as to what they would like to get from the club as a passive member.
Remember, those that attend the meetings will be the ones who shape the club into what it will be. If you don't attend meetings, then don't gripe that things aren't being done the way you'd like.
Officially, we now have 70 people expressing interest to be members, and have 3 sponsors. All 3 sponsors will be lending their services to us, as all of them are aftermarket shops. We will go over discounts/benefits at the meeting.
I hope to go over the following things at the first meeting:
1. Brief ice-breaker getting to know everyone
2. Creation of board positions to be filled at a later date
3. Rules to be put on the agenda for a vote
4. Dues/fees
5. First Fbody event
6. Technical Discussion/Lesson
7. What is expected/desired from the club
8. Networking within our club
9. How often to have meetings
10. AZ Fbody website/webmasters
11. Introduction of sponsors and discussion
12. Other issues not listed above
This is in no particular order, but just a few things that I would like to cover in our first meeting. I know that there will be other issues that will be brought up, and we will discuss those as well.
If people wish to do so, towards the end of the meeting we can see if anyone would either like to get dinner, and/or go to the Pavillions car show together. I'm sure there will be a few that would like to do each, so if you have nothing planned for that night, keep the calendar open just in case!!!
The address of the library is:
1211 N. Central Ave.
Phx. AZ 85004.
If anyone has questions about how to get there, go to http://pac.lib.ci.phoenix.az.us/web/hoursframe.html for directions.
The meeting is in Meeting Room A, and I have no clue where that is, but when you walk in the people at the front can tell you how to get there.
Please RSVP to me via email whether or not you will be coming to the meeting, so I can get a head count to get the appropriate amount of chairs in our meeting room.
I hope to see you all there, and most importantly, DO NOT FORGET YOUR PEN AND PAPER AS WELL AS YOUR $1 !!!!!!!!

Thanks for the reminder Ghost....I still haven't gotten confirmations from a lot of people yet on whether they will or will not be there.
I still need everyone to shoot me an email to let me know if they can or cannot go.
