WTB T56 Swap kit

Like it says, I want to buy a T56 swap kit. Anyone in the Michigan, Sw Ontario area got one?

I have the tranny if you need it. It came out of a 96 Firebird with about 8,000 miles on it. It broke the 5-6 synchronizer and gears. Now has new 5-6 synchro, 5th and 6th gear, new countershaft and D&D steel 3-4 fork. I am just putting it together now. I am a GM dealer tech in Okemos. I know you will still need a lot more parts but this could be your start. I am thinking it may be worth around $1200? Let me know if this sounds like it would work for you. Call me at (517)294-1879.

I can probably get you the pedals you will need, and maybe a console if you need it. With Redroc's tranny, your all set other then a clutch setup and master cylindar. I might be able to kick up a crossmember too if your lucky.

Q, do you have any M6 consoles out of 97+ Pontiacs. I broke the little spring mounting tab for the ash tray cover on mine when I put the switches in there.

All I really need is the top half.

They are all broken like that. The one Dave bought from me, and the one in my car are broken too. I think it is a factory requirement.

Will do, I am pretty sure I have the pedals already. Will start looking for the crossmember tonight.

I can live with that as long as they have the electrical connections in place.
