WTB: Forged lt1 shortblock

Just wondering if anyone in this area has a forged lt1 shortblock that they want to sell or might be looking to sell in the future. I'm looking for a low compression shortblock for my turbocharged set-up. All the shortblocks I been finding are out-of-state. I been ripped off before buying a shortblock out of state. I would rather find someone in the area so I could pick it up. If you know anyone who might have one for sale for a decent price please let me know. Got to get this ready for 08 summer. 600rwhp is around the corner - Mike

i will let me friend know, he actually built a 383, and reused the blower pistons in it. my engine builder built it! it is a very stout motor! i believe compression is around 8.0:1 . all you would need to do is change the camshaft. problem is he is selling everything. THe top end is LE2 heads, my intake, kooks long tubes, but that means nothing to you, ha ha!

you can pm him if you would like, his sig, is steve40 , he doesn't come onto cz that much anymore. but he will be at M12 next weekend with his car. we just dyno tuned it a few days ago, it made excellent power with the low a$$ compression and tiny camshaft that is in it.

talk to him if you are serious. but i can't see him separating the top end from the motor though.
