WTB: Canoe

I am looking to buy a canoe, so if anyone has one that they would like to sell just reply back here.

I'm not too picky on the brand or material as long as it is in decent shape and floats.

I have one. 17 foot fiberglass. One person can carry it. It had a patch once, but it's hihg on the side, not ont he bottom or under the water line anywhere.
You can kind of see it in these pics:

I have new oars for it too I believe. $150 and I'll bring it with me to lansing, you won't even have to travel

Re: WTB: Canoe

How bad/big was the damage under the patch? What brand is it?

I'm very interested.

Just so you know, I do want it, I was just hoping to find out a bit more about it before you bring it over.

Re: WTB: Canoe

the patch is basically a hairline crack from what I could tell, and it was sealed over long before I bought it. I put many miles on it and never had a problem. it's just not the same color as the rest of the canoe. Not sure of the brand, I'll have to look.

Re: WTB: Canoe

How about Monday at 4:00? Did you find the oars for it too?

Now I just need to find a way to strap it to my van.

how about 3:45? I get out at 4, then have to drive 50 minutes to BC, which gives me a half hour to change clothes and eat before leaving for my second job. So once 4 pm hits, I have to be rolling

Ok, let's say 3:30. That way you can help me for a minute to load it up and still have plenty of time. If you want, pm me the exact addy and I'll see you there.

Sorry, I forgot all about it. I JUST now realized it. Not sure if I will be able to get it loaded up in the morning, but I'll give it a shot. Give me a call tomorrow, I'll pm you the number and addy. I gotta find some straps and figure out how to load it on my shortbox pickup. Should be able get it loaded tomorrow evening if I can't get it in the morning. So worst case I'll have it for you wednesday.
