Winter Projects anyone
after its all said and done i'd say around 2500-3000 depending on what parts you get, clutch tranny and all that.
Not to bad if you figure what your getting. and it's not even that hard to do really.

Mike,
I think I saw your car at a gathering off mound this summer, looked like fresh paint. Lookin good.
Heres a list of what Ive paid for so far...staying with the bigger stuff:
- reman T56 w/ bellhousing 12 month 12k miles warranty $2,000
- B&B ripper shifter $170
- Centerforce Dual Fric clutch $560
- alum driveshaft $240
- Spohn crossmember $111
- Flywheel (LT-1) $ 175
- Clutch fork- free from a friend, but usually $50
The other big thing will be the speedo adaption unti (cable X), which converts the mechanical signal to electric.
I still need to pickup a slave cylinder assembly, torque arm bushing....and a few goodies. Hopefully it will all be done by april.

Thanks for the compliment...
I was just wondering if the prices were getting any cheaper now that 4th gen parts are plenty.. ?
Yes and no...if you know what I mean. The only used part I have used is the clutch fork, just cause I like to not take chances. But since I have been doing this swap, I have noticed plenty of 4th gens being parted out. So, I think that this swap will just keep going down in price.
Kandied,
I was just looking through some pictures from cruisin and shows, and I think I have one of me standing next to yours at the tech center show in warren from last summer. Maybe its not, but it looks a lot like yours(clean like I like em). My Iroc has been out of commission lately due to the budget, but this year it will come out for more than 300 miles!!
See ya
