Winter project update: I got 17 miles on the car last night!!

New tranny went in, no leaks. Woo hoo

Shifts feel great. Me and the boy are going for his first ride in the car today. Got to get in 500 miles of break in before Sat/Sun Cz28 Nats. I might make it there after all. I'm not sure if I'll run any nitrous, since my fuel pump needs upgrading, even for a 50 shot.

The motor feels like it is just starting to wake up at 3000 RPM's, but I haven't taken it over 4000 yet. So I cant wait to give it a full stomp.

Still lots to do, but the major part is done. I parked the car out front of the house, just to let the mustangs know Big Daddy is back..

Ditto on that. You need to make it. Too many will be without their cars this year.

100 miles on her now!! All is well. Needs major cleaning.

All runs this year will be all motor. I dont have time to put in a new pump needed to run even a 50-150 shot. Then tuning on top of it.

Now got to save up for the direct port system that I really want. Then I'll be ready to tango with the big boys

See you guys there.

"Harold, give me the run-down of all the changes you've made! I know about the THM400, what else!!??"

New motor, 393 ARE All Bore: Built for a huge shot of nitrous. Forged pistons, rods, o-ringed block, beefed up head studs, main studs, rod bolts. Stage 3 heads. I'm sure there is something else I'm missing.

ARE K-member, Lower A-arms.

400T, transbrake, reverse valvebody, New driveshaft, Sphon TQ arm. Which all leads to a new exhaust, still true duals, but with a H-pipe. Same muflers.

28" tires.

There's more on the list to do, but that's a good start.

Way to go Harold! I bet you are very happy to have it on the road again. I probably will not be at the nats due to the fam at home. I hope you make it and all runs go well. I still have not gotten a hold of the guy on the trans case. I actually lost his numbers you gave me now so if I could get those again...

Anyways, good luck!

Hey Andy, do you rebuild T-56's? Mine is getting really hard to shift into all gears even when the car isn't running.

Yes I do. You can pull it or I can pull it. One way costs more than the other. Anyway, I suggest D&D shift fork and synchros. Call me at 517-223-8944. Leave a message and I can get back to you.
