I am headed down to the detroit area to party with Nick, Rick, Rach, and others from Motown Muscle. If u want video of your car, I can take some while I am down here all day Saturday and all thru the night. I espically want some footage of Harold's SS, Some racing from Roman, Taner of course, I NEED MORE THIRDGENS! Jeff this means you! Chris Jackson! Eric I wish I could but am still very sick. Just spent 5 or 6 days in the hospital. I have 3 or 4 hours of work left on the car but I am to sick and weak to finish it. I think if the car was done I would feel better. Today I stayed up most of the day so I am alittle stronger. I am going to call my brother and see if he can come by Sat and work on the car for me. I am going to try and take the new Ypipe to the shop tomorrow and get the 02 bung welded in . Also there is a part that needs to be picked up at the dealership. I will see if the wife can pick it up tomorrow. Then I need to go by Detroit Speedworks and see Greg & Phil. I can't get the new rubber sleeve on between the intake and the TB track. Then it is just a few hours work installing some things. And a little wiring work.
I am hoping to be well enough to finish the car and make the Z28.com event.
If anyone has some free time and wants to lend a hand give me a call. I can't do much but like I said I would like to get it done.
I would be willing to pay someone to help out. Again I am to sick to do the work but I could tell someone what needs to be done and how.. 586 558/6694
Also I have a intake manifold that needs polishing. It is about 1/2 done. If someone want to come over and finish it I will pay them. Again I can talk you thru it.

If there is anything I can do just give me a call at (586) 294-2321. I've only worked on a 4th gen but the 3rd gen can't be that much different. I mean they all have fuel, air, and spark right . But keep the money man...just give me a call sometime and we'll see what I'm capable of doing.

If the weather is nice this weekend like this morning's forecast says it will be, then Pete and I are taking The Ride over to help Joe work on his car. So it'll be around on Saturday afternoon, evening, and Sunday until we go home. Think we can work something out in there?

Thanks everyone. My brother said he would come by Sat and work for a while. I dropped the y pipe and intake track off from the supercharger to the TB off at Speedworks today. Greg said he should have that done Sat. My wife picked up the part from the dealership. I will go by sat and PU the parts from Speedworks and try to get something done. I think I just need to put the nuts back on the motor mounts,
install the new power steering line from the box the the pump,
wire the alt,
wire the MAF,
reinstall the cooling fan,
install the y pipe,
adjust the supercharger bracket so everthing lines up, just adjustments
install the supercharger oil cooler,
install the water injection,
replace the chip,
set the timing,
top off fluids.
Then fire it up and see if the belt will stay on. It sounds like alot but it is just a few hours work. I did not install the A/C or air pump as I am trying to run the system without it. I may or may not be able to get away with that. The pics from Paxton show it should work.
I feel a little stronger every day so I may be able to do some work myself. I just have to save up my strenth for the weekend. Anyone who feels like stopping by give me a call at 586 558/6694.

 

It all depends on the weather being nice. The forecast for my area shows the next chance for rain being Monday (Memorial Day) but the forecast for Joe's area shows rain all this weekend pretty much. Which is weird, because usually we "preview" the east side's weather for them before they get it...

Chris Ja, we're all so glad that you're getting your strength back!! We want to see that beast rolling with the supercharger!
