Cool Who let the F-bodys out!? woot woot woot!

Okay, I had an unfortunate accident with my “winter beater” where the CV joint busted yesterday and well I had to take my TA out of storage to get to work the next day, well now I’m fixing the CV joint on my Taurus and wondering if I should put the Trans AM back in hibernation? Or should I start to store the Taurus once its fixed? My original plan was to take out the Trans Am on March 15th. Your thoughts?

Also a few tips for next year if your going to store your car.

1.Put your tire pressure up to it's max PSI (40PSI for me), then deflate to it's recommend amount after storing (30PSI)
2. Use a gas stabilzer to prevent the gas from gumming up.
3. Buy a good car cover even if you store inside.

This all worked for me, my car is as good as it was before I stored it.

You should still put it away until the middle of march, at least. I can't wait to get mine out. I would buy a car cover even though it is in a garage, but I keep buying parts for it. It is addicting already, and I have driven the car maybe 7 times since I got it. Then I had to put it away right away, and back to the winter beater with one head light and no second gear. But anyways, you should definately drive the taurus in the snow, not the TA

I too had my T/A out the last couple of days. My Moms van broke down (and no more warranty) so I lent her the beater but only because there hasn't been any snow lately to warrent the salt trucks dumping tons of salt on the roads. I'll be putting it back in the garage Sunday
