Who Can Do An Install Of A 9" Rear End Into A 01 Z28?

Scott will have my rear done pretty soon but is really backed up with work right now. So, I am looking for someone to do the install. The rear is going to be complete, including topped off with fluid.

So, any ideas? Since it is about a 3-4 hr job I am hoping to find a place that can do it while I wait (or drop off and come back same day).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Bill

When will it be done? If you have a place to do it and tools I'd be happy to lend a hand, ask Scott I'm a pro at removing f-bod rears and reinstalling them with nothing but hand tools! I work for pizza and beer!

Edit: You live in Ann Arbor. Make that Moe's and Corona

hey mike, you got a truck? he's gonna need someone to pick it up from scotts house. I live in waterford if you guys want to do the install over here. I cant help, but you can use one side of my garage and my tools if you want to. while I have no time to do it myself outside of my dealership, Id like to see bill get taken care of cause he's a good friend and a good customer of mine. in the morning I'll be golfing, in the afternoon I got some plans to go to the beach with a close friend and my wife but I can keep my garage open for you guys. Im sure he can spring for gas money and then some for all your time. I'll be home all night tonight, tomorrow between noon"ish" after golf till about 2pm, then back sometime early evening for the rest of the night. I'll be working on mikes camaro while Im here. if you were to go pick up the axle for him I live just off M59 so you could take that or 696 to telegraph and up that way. from your place figure 2.5 hours to scotts house then to my house. Im about 30min.s from your dads house. (cant remember where you live). sunday I'll be home all morning but will be gone most of the day after that. anyways let me and bill know what times you got available and we'll see if we can work this thing out. Id love to check out that vette of yours. been to the track with it? did you have to notch the pistons for that cam? who makes it? will be geting something like that soon for my dads TA soon as I finish 94bird's camaro and finish porting the new heads for dads car.

You should do it yourself. I heard it's not that hard of a job. I think after you disconnect all the lines and connectors going to the rear end, the only thing holding it to the car is the shocks, torque arm, and LCA's.

You can also try Shuler racing. They wanted I think around 300.00/less or so to install my moser 9". Give Dan Shuler a call.
