Whiper arm falls off my TA this friday on the Highway
Well Friday my driver side windshield wiper fell off arm and all, but the bolt held it on. So I get home to tighten it and snap the nut falls off with a piece of the wiper bolt, so the arm is on there but not bolted, and I called up the Pontiac dealer this morning and they said "come in tuesday and we will try to help you out." As I told them that the whole thing busted off while I was driving. (try to see if my warranty will cover it). But that’s not the part that’s bothering me, what’s bothering me is I have a 3 point strut bar under my hood and I know they will have to open the hood to get to the wiper motor, anyone know what’s gonna happen if I have a strut bar in the way?
Here’s a pic of the strut bar

takes a long time, you have to lower the wheel and remove the spacers with bolts in the center frame.
lid is one of the mods on the way

hey stavos, you miight be in luck. I am a tech at bob sellers pont. and I can prolly take care of you on the wiper arm. the bolt that the wiper arm bolts down with is broken right? as in you tightened it too much? if you want to bring it to my dealership I can see if I can get it warrantied. I dont normally work on wiper stuff, cause thats considered "trim". but I can do it if our trim guy wont. call my cell tomorrow (or email me tonight) and we can come up w/a plan. you'd need to drop it off in the mourning some day, and I'll see that it gets taken care of. you need any other work while we're at it? just let me know cause I can get it taken care of w/o worry of any yahoo's (besides me
