Where to go in Flint for a trans rebuild?
Phils is good, i dont believe the cottman story though ive had work dont at the one in davison and rick is a great guy, but since the stores are franchised i cant vouch for them all , if it was me i would check al's trans and gear on saginaw, i know he has built more than a few of flints race transmissions.

wow, seems you have some bad luck with transmisssion guys,
did they do the install of your transmission along with the rebuild?
if it was a th350 id do it for ya, but i havent messsed with one of the 4l60e's and dont wanna take my chances...
best of luck to you on finding a trans shop..

Phil's transmission is owned by a friend of my dad's. His guys do awesome work. He shop is one of the few I allow to work on my cars. He has put gears, stalls, and rebulit many trannies for the family. His work is top notch. If you go therE tell Phil, little Phil, Al Crowter, or Terry that Brandon Reno sent you. They will take good care of ya. Terry is going to be putting gears, stall, shift kit in my vert this week.
good luck
Brandon
