Where to get Subframes Welded at??

I got a pair of BMR boxed SFCs that need to be welded in soon, i live near detroit, but go to school in East lansing, so anyone know of anywhere near either of these cities that will do it for a good price. I think PFE told me 150 a while ago, but i cant remember. Thanks in advance.

Call Diamond Fabrication 586-443-5297 located in Warren...Diamond used to work for Gary at PFE then opened his own place. Tell him what Gary quoted you and he'll probably give you a better deal

I can tell you where NOT to go. Avoid the Muffler Man across from the GM stamping plant on Saginaw Hwy. Those bastiges almost burned my car to the ground. I specifically showed them the plastic fuel lines and told them not to weld there......... they did anyway and melted the line!!!

This is not a job to have done on the cheap. Spend the $100 at a place that knows what it is doing.

Been there, done that.

Re: Where to get Subframes Welded at??

my buddy will be coming down soon to weld mine in, he's also welding up a torque arm and stuff for me, if you don't mind waiting a few weeks i'm sure he'd do it dirt cheap for you! $40 or less. let me know

mike

ps: he's a very talented welder, he's welded hitches on a few of my vehicles and i'm had no troubles.

Okemos Auto on Jolly Road.. Those guys have done awesome work for me. Call them up. The thing about those guys is they are mechanics for work and fun -- all of em have a toy car of one sort or another. I'm sure they'll hook you up.

ROOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFLL. I know the guy who runs that place -- they tried to tell me a 3" exhaust doesn't fit on an F-Body and that they dont make kits for them. Exactly why I DON'T take work there.

3" is good if running dope or some sort of forced induction. It helped out my car quite a bit actually, thanks for asking.

I go to Keith's Muffler for all my welding, hes located in Westland and does unbelieveable work. His welds are super clean and that man can bend pipes like none I've ever seen.
