Are you near any drag strips? They usually have scales for tech inspection...

If you're 20 miles north of Detroit, you should be near Lapeer.

You live in Sterling Heights? There's a recycle station around here (Troy) that has a weigh station. These cars will barely fit on it, but it's free and open 24/7.

If it's the same place that I'm thinking of it's on Rochester rd. around Wattles.
I went there a week or so and my SS weighed in at a big fat 3460 w/full tank of gas w/out me in it.

Yea the scales in Troy are on Rochester Rd. on the west side just south of 18 mile or Square Lake for you Oakland county peeps. Its off to the left and the scale is just big enough for a car. It reads on the building and is +/- 20lbs.

My Z weighed 3540 with me in it and almost no gas.
With a full tank it weighed 3640.
