wher is the mcD's? I remember vaguely but

McDonald's
2784 SOUTH STATE STREET
IONIA, MI 48846-9475

thisis the only one that is comeing up, but the map shows if off the path to get to the track. I remembered its about 20 miles south of the track and right on the way up there. sooo, is it on south state road, north state road, or that dexter road in the middle, or what? any info would be great. gonna try to get there right around 8am.

The McD's in Ionia is on M-66, which is on the route that you would take north if coming from I-96 on the west side on Lansing.

There also is a McD's in Ithaca, located on Stanton Rd (state route 522, may also be called something else in Ithaca) near US-127. This is on the route to the track as well, but is on the east side Lansing.

no no no. people were supposed to meet at the McD's in ionia. I found it, but noone else showed up except mr Dan B. ohwell. from now on, it'll be bigboys in ionia. since Im the only one that shows up, might as well make the decision for the whole crowd that we ALL meet at big boys on the way to the M-events.

were all just having fun.

dan too bad I didnt know you were goin we could have met up for breakfast. what time did you get there? we were in the parking lot at 5 till 8, ghost town. went inside and used the rest room, got in line, then saw big boys next door. then I suggested we blow this popsicle stand, and go where they have real food.
figured its only a few bucks more, and since we were goin to be at the track all F'n day prolly would be alot better off.

I gotta try to figure out how to get this video onto the net. dan, you got a way to transfer a HI-8 cassette onto the pc? just dont know yet how I can do it. I got my buddies camera, it has a usb plug, and a DV plug. Im sure I could prolly buy a cable, but I wonder if I gotta do anything special to transfer it into my pc? the camera has a sandisc slot, and I got a 2MB card. I know I can transfer still's from the tape, onto the card. wonder if I can transfer video from the tape onto the card?

Sure,
I have the equipment for transferring Hi-8 to hard drive: It just takes a video capture card. Half of the 2003 CamaroZ28.com Nationals DVD was taken from Hi-8. Try looking at what was Pinnacle's Studio 9 software. I hope it's better than Studio 8, but it's cheap for what it does. I could transfer it for you but it might take a while for me to get to it.
