What way to go?

My engine Is going downhill..

Im pulling it out soon and need some advice and things to look out for durring the rebuild , and things not to skimp on.

I dont wanna spend a whole lot of money but I want my engine to be fresh and last a couple more years with out having to do this again.. Thats why I want it done right

Anyone recommend any machine shops and things to watch out for?

Im thinking 355 or 383 I dont wanna end up like my buddie with a 383 Trans Am running 12.9 at 106 that doesnt add up to me..

I wanna spray it with 150 wet or maybe 175 and not be scarred to drive it to stanton with out a trailer following me
