what kind of starter and where?
My starter was acting up before I parked it a couple months ago. Any opinions on what kind of LT1 starter to get? And where in the Detroit area to go?

I would go with an GM LT4 starter. It's brand new, not rebuilt.

Order it from Jason Chromer for like $125.

You might have to remove the y-pipe to put it in.
