what I did today

Ok Well the engine came back out I put the oil shaft in after some suggestion from a hammer and screwdriver and lots of cursing , then buttoned up the oil pan (more cursing and swearing that I never want to work under a car without a lift again!!!!), and dropped the engine back in.

Next job... Bolting the trans back to the engine (way tight and will take a whole day no doubt) , then bolting everything back up I took off (fuel lines, hoses, wiring, rad, ect ect ect.) This will be done next weekend as Im exhausted.

I spent 3 hours under my car 3 inches from my nose........ What did you do today?

I spent the whole day taking the TPI and headers off. Heads are next to come off and then off to the machine shop they go.

12's should be fun.

Number one came over with the GN today. Once he replaces the knock sensor it goes up for sale.

What did I do today? I steam cleaned the carpet in the Cutty with my new Pro-heat carpet cleaner. I cant wait to break out the Zaino and get to work. So many problem areas to work out.

Sounds like a nice GN. I like my bird though and I could never ever recover the amount of time and money Ive poured into it. Those subframe connectors sound sweet. Ive got a set that will be welded in this summer by a car club member (I hope) with the new motor Im going to need it, as I got lots of flex out of even the old motor. This fresh motor should rock, I hope it doesnt blow up in my face . Its the first motor Ive built so we shall see. The heads looked so sweet when I was done the porting.

new motor has.......crane cam, TPI, old style block from an 85 vette, name brand rings, lifters, bearings, gaskets, all the best. Headers, done up heads with new valves and springs, Moroso Electric water pump, finally got rid of that damn air pump~!~~
