Tell us how you really feel, don't hold back

Good thing they pissed you off. The alternative is you would have had them tune your car. You think you are pissed now. After they attempted to tune your car you would know what being pissed off really means.

There are some great tuners out there. Since you are in Macomb you should call Stenod, I hear Dr. Phil is doing their tuning now. You won't find much better.

Good Luck.

Nope he's really known as Dr Phil - he's being serious.

You can also give Vector Motorsports a call - Steve is the tuner there and he tuned my car.

Dr Phil and Steve have tuned quite a few guys' cars on MiFbody, both are very reputable.

I don't know if Dr Phil does LTx/OBD1 tunes though?

I just got back from Dr. Phils house tonight. The guy is far superior to Vector. Vector uses LS1 Edit (dinasour) and Dr. Phil uses HP Tuners (the latest and best). He fixed Vectors tune for me. Let me tell you, its a night and day difference. I'm not at all happy with Vector and I've been going to Kirk since the mid 90's. PM me if you want details.

Shoot, no other tuner goes to the track and logs your run, tweaks your tune. Dr. Phil is top notch.

You're wrong on that one. Sean at cars will go to the track with you also. Met me at the track twice (ran out of time the first outing) to tweek my tune.

My dad had his LS3 Vette tuned there last year and he was still using the LS1 Edit. Hopefully he's up with the times as you mentioned.

I'm not sure who you spoke to, but maybe you misundersood what they were trying to say. We have a policy now that we won't tune an LT1 unless it's stock and we mod it or unless it's inspected before we agree to take on the job. Nothing against you or your car, but these cars are at least 13 years old now and a lot of them have had several hands in them and have other issues besides needing a tune. We are the busiest we've ever been and the dyno is currently 3 weeks out. When I left today, there were 34 cars (mostly 2010 Camaro, C5/C6 Vette, and G8's). We don't want to get a car up there then find problems and have to strap and un-strap it multiple times.
