Can someone give me an idea how much my front and rear bumpers weigh on a '94 Formula? I'm not talking about the covers, just the bumpers. I was thinking about removing them for some weight savings since it's mostly a track car now, but the rear one appears to be plastic, which makes me think they don't weigh much at all.

mine was 23# on the front didn't do the back though, it's a good place to mount the pump and filter

Have you made any passes with the bumper removed? I am considering the same weight saving trick, but a friend warned me the bumper cover will not have any reinforcement. The cover could buckle in at high speed and flake off the paint. (This apparently happens to mustangs, not shure if it will happen to a F body).
