Jeff seeing that you are selling your car I guess I will just put the parts you have at my house on my car.
I was at ebay motors and was going to email them that the car shown was not his. I didn't see a way to contact ebay tho.

Whats really funny is the ad says with T-tops, but as far as I can see the car in the pictures is a hard top.

eBay recognizing that some posted listings may infringe the
intellectual property rights of other eBay users, we have developed specific procedures that enable you to identify and request removal of allegedly infringing listings. These procedures are intended to substantially comply with the requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. section 512):

http://www.qlinks.net/comdocs/uscopyright.htm

Our Notice of Description Infringement is included below for your
convenience. Please complete, sign, and send it back to us by email at userIP@ebay.com. Once we have received your Notice of Description Infringement in proper form, we can end the identified listing(s). Be sure and identify the specific listings by number (the member's screen name or User ID is not sufficient), and explain, in detail, why the listing should be removed.

Please note that in order to use the Notice of Description Infringement, you must have created, or otherwise own the rights to, the text, image, and/or HTML in question. If you use the Notice of Description Infringement to report a listing and you did not create the original work, or otherwise own the rights to it, you expose yourself to liability under the law, and risk suspension from eBay.

We have found that many people are unaware that using images, HTML, or text that they have found on the internet is a potentially infringing action. For more information, please visit:

If you have any other questions, please let us know at userIP@ebay.com.

Have a great day!

eBay Community Watch Team

no i don't have an ebay account and i can't find a way for me to get ahold of them personally.

it isn't that it's that i'm trying to make a big deal of it because it's my car. i just don't want someone thinking that it's me trying to lie to someone.

i have nothing to do with this auction and the person involved should be made to use his own pictures. that's all.

Jeff what's probably happening is this guy will take a deposit (or the whole sale price) from the highbidder and rip them off... with your pictures.
If you want me to have the auction pulled I'll send the form back for you, I've seen your car in person and I know you took those pictures yourself.
I have no problem filling that form out for you as long as you give me the ok.
Stuff like this dilutes the eBay user base for all of us who are legitimately trying to sell cars.

well yeah if there is something you can do to stop it then go for it!!

i agree that it's wrong to decieve people....all the seller had to do was post in big noticeable letters that it isn't his car but he doesn't have pictures and this is the closest thing to it. i don't care about using the pictures....just the way he is doing it.

thanks jim

The pics with the inflatable bow tie...weren't they taken at the Meijer Gardens or whatever that place is called north of ann arbor? I have some pics from there I just went through, but I didn't get the bowite in unfortunately. Seems like it was Camaro Fest or something...
