News update thus far on the 85' vette: balanced the tires, fixed the cam problem, the plugs were all gapped wrong and rocker arms not adjusted properly but thats all fixed (fixed those darn leaking valve covers) now and it runs great, never would have guessed the engine was just rebuilt, the machine shop who put the short block together did a great job but the corvette specialists couldn't put the rest together correctly but they still managed to charge $7600 RIPOFF.

I still feel a vibration in the drivetrain at 80+mph, I checked the u-joints but I can't find anything wrong, anyone have any suggestions? Are there any good shops I could take it to?

Next problem is the overdrive of the tranny (4+3 tranny) on the express way it shifts out of overdrive and I can't get it back on until the next day. I found the selenoid wire was a little bare with no rubber around it at the connection, I think the selenoid could be bad inside the overdrive. It works sometimes, sometimes it doesn't work at all. Anybody know about the 4+3 or what this could be?
