Post TrouserSnake,I have info for you.

Trouser, I called Jamal tonight and talked to him about the car. He said that THE ONLY things he did was do a muffler (or catback, says he can't remember), the K&N filter, and the MAF screen removal. He said he was running a 13.8 just like you said. He actually wants to get ahold of ya to see how his ole' car is doing. He was quite impressed to hear of your 13.6 passes at 104/105. He has a 12 second Turbo talon right now and wants to head up to the track sometime in the next couple weeks. We'll see I guess. If ya want to, email me your phone number so I could give it to Jamal, also so I could have it in case I am ever in Midland.

Later man.

Is there anyway you can verify with the old owner if it has Intrax lowering springs??? The guys sold it to trouser and said it did, but they look NOTHING like the intrax I have on my Z. Just curious if the guy lied, or they are a differnt breed of spring.

i ran 13.666 at 105.30 before the shift kit stall and HPPP so hopefully i can get it into the low 13's high 12's on a cold night. my number is (989) 839-0501 if the weather is nice we should head out to test and tune wensday. I want you guys to try a run in the left lane Both dreamer and Red Iroc it seems i get into a groove and pull 2 mph faster in that lane. With some 70* weather and less humid id say both your cars have to potential of running mid 13's the first time at the track i ran 13.8-14.1 thats with cold air(K&N fipk) 3.73 no traction i got it down to 13.6 just by learning how to launch it there

K&N FIPK, 160* thermo, 3.73,2800 stall, shift kit, flowtech cut out, no cat, dynomax muffler,

I ran the left lane on my Bye run. I still ran about the same. We just need some COOLER weather. My car is running fine now, it quit that night after it cooled down and got some air under the hood on the way home. I just think it was TOO hot for her to do it again I have my sons birthday party this wednesday, but I almost have my brother convinced to skip his afternoon nap, he works midnights, and go to TNT. I will let you know the next time I plan to go. Maybe on the 24th, there is a street car shootout that would be a blast to goof off in

I don't think that I'll make it to Wednesday TNT because I still have no money. Unless of course I get a job sometime tomorrow... we'll see.

Ummm I'll call Jamal again and see what he says about the springs. He wants to go to Martin this weekend for Friday night TNT. I am gonna go there with my buddy so he can race his car for the first time ever. He has a '73 Plymouth Satellite with a 340 motor pushing around 14.5:1 compression. He has a 300 shot on top of the 550 at the rear wheels.
