Trans mount bad after 30k???

Every time i go to rip in to 2nd there's a loud clunk on the floor board. I know my Y pipe hits because i have a cat-less Y-pipe, but the sound sounds a little more deep and heavy than an exhaust pipe. Is it likely that i have a bad trans mount?

If it was a bad mount it woul dmost likely make a clunk anytime you gave it a good shot on the gas and whenever tiy took off in first or shifted.

Try a poly mount, NAPA has them in stock for $29
My friend went through 3 of them in 1 summer on his 94 T/A auto. wasent long before he needed trans rebuild and head gaskets. Than he sold it and now hes working on beating up his 2000 WS6

you just have to have them calibrated every 20k miles. And none of the Bleem standard calibration. You have to go with Frammlestat!

After reading up on them i found that the best thing to do would be go with a fluctuating dingle arm type mount. It has a direct connection to the hycunution valve so it can regulate the hydrostatic pressure in the vapor chamber correctly. Than you can delete your exhaust bearings with out throwing a code.

and if all the above fails try checking the rubber mount for the torgue arm on the tail housing of the trans. Is the rubber still in there or is it gone and beating it's self to death?
