Trailer

Not sure who needs a trailer, but the best prices on trailers are right here local in the Detroit area at Shores Trailer on 9 mile and I94. Best prices without driving down to the factory, which you end up saving next to nothing when you factor in your gas and time to get there and there are no hidden costs. Anyone needs a trailer you call us. We've been in business for over 50 years help KEEP the business in MICHIGAN!

No,

Were actually looking for one of those right now too. Only a few places sell them, none of which are close. To have one made at a local place you are talking $3500+ We paid $2500 for our 16ft 7k gvw 15 years ago. It broke so we sold it, so now we are looking for one to replace it. IF you are serious, get a michigan auto and Rv book, couple places in that book sell them, but be prepared to shell out the coin.

Thanks,
Nick

You are in the $5k range, call us for exact price and options you might want. We carry the brand Haulin, made by Forest River.

Thanks,
Nick

Their are A LOT of diff types of open car trailers. This is why we stopped selling them. Someone always wants something we don't have. Their are wood decks, open middle wood decks, steel decks, steel open middle decks, then all of the above could me made of angle iron, c-channel, or tubing. Then you have diff brake configurations, only one of which is legal in Michigan. You can get NO brakes with isnt legal, then brakes on one axel, then brakes on both with the emergency breakaway switch. On top of all this, their is diff kinds of painting processes. Powder coat, reg paint with primer base, then the cheapest, paint sprayed over whatever. But for a good wood deck trailer made of c-channel with a good paint job and 4 wheel brakes, you are in the $2-2500 range. We can still order open car trailers, we just don't keep them in stock anymore.
