Sunday, Sunday, Sunday

The motor comes out of the Vert. If anybody is bored and wants to get dirty let me know. All the beer and Moon Mist you want, and I'm gonna grille something or order pizza. Starting EARLY around 8am and working till I have it out. My motor guy is waiting on me and so is the guy who is porting the heads. So I need to kick it into gear. Anybody? If not I say screw you all J/K

I'm a lazy bastard that will be working on my own car. If I get all the stuff I want done to mine, I'll head over. It shouldnt take me too long to do a coolant flush and new door seals.

Where else are you going to pull a tranny and a engine out the bottom of a car while they are still attached Should be fun.

How are you gonna pull the engine from the bottom? Isnt there a frame in the way?

I think it's just 6 bolts and the frame comes out with them! The only benifit of the uni-body construction.

Exactly. The entire driveline needs to come out, and this is alot easier then the other way IMO. Besides I have never done it, and it will get the struts out so I can change the springs too. Gives me a chance to detail a few things you dont get at very often. Should be pretty cool, I will post pictures when it is done.

Yeah, now that you have software that helps you out. If we have time, I'll give you a quick walkthrough on how to use it.

The most difficult part about getting the struts out is removing the 2 torks head bolts that are under the master cylinder. I had both struts out of my car in an hour and that was on jackstands.

I've had the struts twice before, those arent too bad. But I am going to leave them attached to the lower control arms and pull them all out with the cradle assembly. Should be pretty trick the way it comes out. I hope
