Stuck in the snow 6 times

I am way to anxious for Spring to come and I decided to start up my vette and drive it up and down the driveway a few times to keep everything lubed and I wanted to leave my car outside for a while so my brother could use the heated garage to work on his truck. I live on a dirt road and my driveway is long but gravel so there is snow ontop of it. I got stuck about 6 times in my driveway just trying to get it back up the hill to the side of my garage, it was frustrating because the 315's on the back would just spin on the slightest amount of snow/ice and it would just dig all the way through the snow and eat up the gravel and still not go anywhere. I realized that if I ever had to drive it in the snow I would have no chance in Haiti of ever making it anywhere. The worst news is that my car is running pig rich and the carb is dripping instead of spraying so I am going to have to tear the carburator apart and clean it up along with the list of other stuff I want to do before Spring (unless Chris lets me put his 750 on try it out). I can't wait until this snow is gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol, this sounds familiar. Im in SE MI. i have a cousin with a vette who told me i wouldnt be able to get it up the driveway in the winter. I thought he was exagerrating a little but he was right. My driveway has a slight incline and i just cant make it up when theres snow. I can go over flat snow at about 15 mph without any problem once i get going. I however am relying off other people for transportation lately and only take it out on nice days.

dude, its not just your 315's. my 225's I have on my capricedid that exact same thing in your brothers driveway. what a pain. good thing I had my shovel with me. too bad I left it there! and ofcourse you can borrow the 750 again. this time take it to the track and see what it'll do. Im sure its very close to optimum for your car.

Hey Chris, I called my brother and he said he will bring your shovel over my house next time he comes over. Until Spring my vette is sitting at home, it's outside for the time being. I drove one of my previous camaro's in the snow and it did good (especially with some weight in the back) but my vette can't stop on ice with the tires and won't go anywhere because of the power and gearing, it sucks compared to a camaro when the weather conditions are bad.

tell him to leave the shovel there. I'll get it when I take the trailer back. no big deal. I should be bringing the trailer back in two weekends. send me your brothers address so I can send him his check for storing my iroc. I dont want to wait any longer.
