Anyone planning on going to this? I'm expecting for everyone to have the same reaction, no there will be too many ricers. But, I figured I'd ask. Usually when they do their street race events it isn't all ricers, well I went to one or two. If anyone's going, we could park together, I'm thinking about going right now.

It is some streetrace/club thing. 89x will be there. Me and the guys will be going to see what its all about. Hopefully it will be cool and not a bunch of hardasses with slow **** looking to start fights.

 

have to be registed? what bout a car that has plates but just isnt registerd right now?

This not put on by Milan dragway. It's put on by Kumho Tires, it's national type event that has been traveling to country all summer. It will be @ norwalk on Aug 12. Here is link to there web site. You can check pics for other events.

Cool, sounds like we'll have a gang of the Z's there then. I'm thinking it might be packed and may only get a few runs in if it's just like line up and take your turn down the track. since you mention it is a national event. I'm thinking if you've got a plate you can race, well especially if it looks streetable. Even at the "street races" sponsered by milan I've seen guys trailor in race cars, but they might not allow it here. They sure are advertising it alot. I'm looking to turn a new best time, see the hot babes in the bikini contest and see some bad a** cars. I picture it to be like that desert race in the F&F movie, but probably not quite.

 

Does anyone know if you have to have a valid liscense to race? (Mines suspended) Also what is the spectator entry fee.

Hm...Street Legal? You guys think having no cats counts? Other than that, I think I'd qualify.

Is there any reason that they wouldnt allow a video camera into the stands? I'm planning on going just to watch and maybe i can tape some of you guys on the track...

 

I've recorded the last few times I was there. I don't think they'd tell you not to.
