We have had some pretty fast guys in the club, most of the faster guys have bailed out to pursue other interests.
If you look under performance on the website, there are sections broken out by engine, LT1, LS1, and V6.

Re: Street Lethal Website Back Up and Running
Change is good, no sense in hosting pictures for 300 people when only the same 30 to 50 are actually active.
A good portion of the club wanted to collect dues, others wanted it to be free, you know how that arguement goes. The dues won, now we have money to cover web hosting, mailers and other stuff instead of playing pass-the-hat or having individual members pay it all.
We are not an internet club, we are a car club with an internet site.
Just wanted to let you know we are still around.

Dave I (slpdave) is still the President. We have a staff of 4 others that do the membership, website, and events stuff. All that info is on our website. At one point the staff was about double the size with much more ambitious plans, but reality set in that this is not a full time job for any of us, and you quickly get burnt out if you have to do something with your car every day - especially when you have a family.
I think the scaled down local club is the better idea. I personally would be open to including third gens at some point, but time will tell. We have all-members meeting at least once a seson to discuss big questions like that.
Just like anything, you can't make everybody happy all of the time. We go with majority rules on issues like that.
Thanks for the well-wishes.

Re: Street Lethal Website Back Up and Running
i agree with you, the club shouldn't try to make others happy. had you guys started out all camaro or even all f-body vehicles of all years one can only imagine how large your club might have been. with that always comes more problems too.
good luck.
good luck.
