Does it have all the tie rods and everything? Are they in good shape? Im still interested, have cash now tho =P All I need is the long rack.

 

damn, $50? thats crazy low. Id buy it for a spare if I didnt want to do the manual conversion myself. Im really curious what all was involved in the manual swap? where did you get the rack from? how did you route the belt w/o the pump in there? can you send me an email w/some pics? how much weight did it save? whats the ratio of the new rack? how does it drive/steer for ya? I love the manual gear in my Iroc, but I hate the 4.5 turns lock to lock it has as opposed to the 2.5 turns of the power gear.

Yeah everything. I switched to a pinto-style manual rack so it's all gotta go.

To the guy asking about manual rack...Stenod Racing (www.stenodracing.com) did the setup but it's simply a summit pinto rack and a bunch of other parts and then put together by Joe and the gang over there. PM me if you have any other questions.

 

Wow, $50 for all this stuff is a deal. If I didn't already have a spare steering rack, I'd be all over this.
