St.Thoams on Saturday, Toronto F Body shootout
I went out in the first round,to the eventual winner a Pro Bracket car that was not plated and trailered in.
He was good,he ran within 4/100 on on his worst run and right on his dial in twice.
Taner got a new N/A best, 11.30@121.89
He broke out in the quarterfinals 11.35 0n a 11.37 dial.
Patman lost by 2/1000's to the Pro Car in the semi's.
Jim Wood lost to the Pro Car in the final.
A single Turbo LS1 w/Heads/Cam ran a 10.995 @ 127.xx that was a new PB. I think he goes by Warbird on LS1.com.
He had someone else drive the car on that pass,I am not sure who drove the car.
The A.R.E. car went 163mph a new best.

I had a real good excuse.
Like the past 2 months, I had to work.
Tom, do you go cruising up and down Lundy's Lane? My Buddy and his 2 kids went down to Hang out on the Strip amongst some f-bodies tonight.

Thanks man nice to meet you to. My stock rear end was screaming all the way home I'll have to pull the cover off this week and have a look. Maybe I can limp it through the the rest of the year. I told my wife I f'd the rear end and have to get a 12 bolt she's not to happy. O well.... We'll see you around the track.

I also worked on the car all day so I thought I would stay in and rest by watching the Bills game on local TV.

Dave D. and I watched this off white mustang in the left lane stall at the line.
He restarted it and proceded to do a half track burn out, this was right before the quarterfinals
Yeah it was a good time for sure..
It was nice to see Patman and Warbird.. I hadnt seen them in years.. 3 years for patman, and 4 for warbird who remembered me before i even had a chance to say hi..
That stang guy was a complete tool.. way to **** up the track for the rest of the guys.
