Exclamation Soon to be for sale in April - 4 chrome 10-spoke SS wheels/Eagle F1s -low miles!

I am posting this so I and anyone interested can "hit the ground running" when springtime rolls around.

I have 4 chrome 10-spoke SS wheels wrapped with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires that I will be selling in the Spring. They have around 1,500 miles on them since new last August. I bought the car, drove it a little bit and then took a trip to the Bowling Green (KY) F-body show and back. It has been garaged since. The car has not been drag raced or driven hard, no burnouts, just easy miles on then so the wheels and tires are in brand new condition. They don't get much newer than this, if you know what I am saying.

Why am I waiting until Spring? Because these wheels/tires are still on the car and I won't be putting the new wheels/tires on until I take the car out in the Spring (sometime in April most likely).

You can check out what they look like here:

The only difference is mine have SS centercaps instead of the bowtie centercaps in the image.
I can also supply current digital images of the actual wheels/tires on my car to serious buyers. I'll just got out and take pictures of them.

So if you will be in the market for new wheels and tires in a couple of months, let me know and maybe we can work something out so that as soon as I get my car out of storage, you can get your new wheels. Plus I am trying these locally first so that no shipping charges will be required. However, If we can put a deal together I can deliver them within reasonable distance if you don't live in my area.

E-mail me to discuss/make offers/BS with me about it.

I always thought those wheels would look good on my T/A except for the center caps, too bad.

I'm sure you won't have a problem selling them, someone with an LT1 with the old salad shooters would buy them in a hurry

No biggie on that. I went out and checked the caps and the SS emblem is sort of silk screened onto it. It would not surprise me if you could zip the SS emblem off with some diluted paint thinner. Either that or just get them lightly sandblasted and then redipped in chrome. I am sure a motorcycle shop could do that. Then you can put whatever logo you want on them and just shoot some clear over it to protect it.

I am having a similar issue with the new wheels I will be putting on. They are Z06 wheels, and I have Camaro centercaps that fit them because I don't like the Corvette logo on the caps that came with the wheels. The problem is the Z06 wheels are a much darker shade of grey than the Camaro caps, so I have to have the Camaro caps stripped and painted to match the wheel color. Then I have to get some SS logos made to put on the caps once they are painted and then shoot a bit of clear over that. *SIGH* All for centercaps! Hehehe...

I can vouch for Jason, I bough his Simmons rims off him awhile back and they were totally flawless. I'm very happy with them, just wish I had my car ready to bolt them on! Jason is a good guy to do business with, so thanks again Jason!

BTW Jason, I know what you mean about the centercaps, I'm still deciding on what I'm going to do with mine since they say SS right now, I might either change them to RS or just leave them blank. What did you do to put the SS on them? I'm guessing you used templets, or are they decals?

Yep, and I still regret selling those. Oh well, glad you are happy with them!

I had my buddy at Club Conceptz make them. They are vinyl and I just sanded the caps down, painted them, shot some clear on them, applied the decals and shot a few more coats of clear on them again. You can probably re-send them and do the same. E-mail me and I can put you in touch with Scott to have different decals done.

If anyone wants the wheels but have a problem with the centercaps saying "SS" on them, I can get the same chrome center caps but plain. Just an FYI.

These are still for sale. I checked the mileage on my car last night, and it is just above 1,500 miles. These suckers are nearly brand new!

I wanna move them out in a couple of weeks, so if you want 'em, lemme know!

These should be ready in two weeks.

Looking to get $1,350 out of them wheels and tires locally, I don't want to have to ship them.

Sorry, I would rather sell them as a set.
